Addressing the Mind, Body, Heart, and Spirit
The mind represents the mental story of our experience. The mind tells us what we know, believe, and understand. The mind is our inner commentator, always telling us what we “should” or “should not” say, do, think, and feel. It is important to be aware of all the thoughts going through our minds so that we can decipher what it is that our bodies and hearts may be responding to. We can help you retrain your mind to create healthy habits of thought and focus.
The body represents the physical story of our experience. What are the physical sensations you experience when thinking or talking about a particular topic? Do you have butterflies in your stomach? Do you feel light or heavy? Warm or cold? Pleasure or pain? Jittery or calm? Does your breath become shallow or deep? Our body remembers and responds to all other parts of our experience. Our body’s health is crucial to our mental, emotional, and spiritual health. We encourage and offer support towards creating and maintaining a healthier physical body.
The heart represents the emotional story of our experience. The heart tells us what we are feeling, yearning for, and sometimes missing. Do you feel joyful? Sad? Grateful? Afraid? Embarrassed? Guilty? Grief? Lonely? Motivated? Excited? The emotional response to our experience can tell us a lot about our past, present, and future. We are here to help you discover contentment and peace in your life.
The spirit represents the sensation of connection and disconnection. How connected do you feel with yourself? Your friends? Your partner? Your family? If you have a spiritual belief system, this is also the quadrant of our experience where we feel connected or disconnected from a higher power. Whatever your experience is, we want to help you strengthen your connection with yourself and anyone you wish to feel closer to.
